Russian Garant Horseradish

This vodka brand is called Русский гарантъ – Russian Garant Horseradish vodka. It is from Russia, and this particular edition has been flavored with, well duh… horseradish!

There could rarely be a more stupid idea than producing Russian Garant Horseradis vodka

Does the thought of mixing horseradish with vodka sound horrible to you? Well, it didn’t to me. Not before I tried it. I thought: well, I have bread and pickles and all sorts of things with my vodka all the time, so why would I not want to try a vodka infused with horseradish?

I was wrong.

And this wasn’t just what I thought. All my friends around the table agreed that this was the least drinkable vodka I had ever got for us. It wasn’t so much the vodka itself, just that terrible terrible horseradish flavoring that made it intolerable.

And this is in fact a pity: I can’t tell you much about the vodka itself, because the flavoring was just such an insult to the senses (1/10). The aftertaste was horrible too (1/10). Maybe if you really like horseradish, then you will be able to deal with this drink. Well, maybe. The bottle design was okay (5/10). The price was around 15€ for 700ml: 8/10.

I am not sure what to say about this one. Beware?
